ContractGPT is a product of Appliance Doctor DMV LLC d/b/a “ContractGPT” (the “Company”). These Terms govern your use of the ContractGPT website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Not Legal Advice

ContractGPT generates documents from your inputs using large language models. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and no attorney–client relationship is created. For complex or high-risk matters, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, actions, and the accuracy of information you provide.

3) License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use documents you generate for your business. Do not misuse the Service (e.g., unlawful content, IP infringement, automated scraping/abuse, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass paywalls/rate limits).

4) Payments, Trials, Refunds

Payments are processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). Taxes may apply. One-time purchases are eligible for a 7-day refund; subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. See our Refunds Policy for details.

5) Generated Content & Your Inputs

You are responsible for the inputs you provide and any documents generated. Review and adapt documents to your situation. We may log high-level usage metadata to operate and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy.

6) Intellectual Property

The Service (software, branding, site content) is owned by Appliance Doctor DMV LLC. You retain rights to your inputs and the documents you generate (subject to these Terms).

7) Third-Party Services

We rely on providers such as hosting, email, payment processing, and AI model APIs to operate the Service. Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12) Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, USA.

14) Dispute Resolution & Venue

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Charles County, Maryland, or, if federal jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
